Since launching AJE ATHLETICA in 2021, the activewear outpost of the beloved Australian brand has seen incredible success. Today the label marks its latest collection dubbed ‘Destination’, as well the launch of an all-new social hub. In apt timing with the opening of Australian borders, model export Shanina Shaik returns as the newest face of the brand.
Destination has been crafted for the adventurous activewear enthusiasts in us all. Sporty essentials and hero silhouettes are released in crisp steel blue, khaki and grey, and finished with the AJE ATHLETICA logo as inspired by contemporary streetwear. Alongside staples such as the full-length leggings and supportive crops, the new collection features hybrid corset-inspired crop tops, a bonded neoprene blazer, water repellent track pants, quick-dry windbreakers, and perforated mesh training t-shirts in recycled nylon.
Did we mention this is their most innovative collection yet? Pieces are made from 70 percent sustainably sourced materials including plant-based fabrication modal, recycled nylon/polyester and organic cotton.
“It’s an honour, I love being on set surrounded by Aussies,” the former Victoria’s Secret model said. “I believe I embody the A.A Collective girl. I love to wear my activewear for a workout or just for my everyday uniform. The A.A girl is easy going, fun and hardworking. That sounds like me!”
