Activewear has quickly become the fashion norm in our daily uniform by lending sleek comfort. For yoga buffs and style enthusiasts alike, beloved Australian brand, Aje, has expanded its usual repertoire of voluminous dresses and romantic tailoring with an all-new athleticwear capsule. Aptly titled ‘Aje Athletica’, the fashion house has today released a range of performance-led pieces that are consciously designed.

Encompassing 70 percent consciously-sourced materials which are variously recycled, organic and eco-friendly, each style from bike shorts to crops has been technically fit, with durability verified across 35 versatile and fit-for-purpose silhouettes. With a strong belief in inclusivity, the newly-released capsule is available in sizes 8 to 14.

Creative director and co-founder, Edwina Forest articulates “With a respect of our environment, AJE ATHLETICA embraces sustainable practices and local expertise to deliver quality product with a minimal footprint. Informing the design process with 70 percent conscious fabrications from the ground up, impacting the foundations at elemental phase – has been very fulfilling. From a design perspective there is a heightened level of detail and thought applied, resonant of the Aje ‘signature’, that customers have come to adore and appreciate.”

Co-founder and CEO, Adrian Norris shares “In consideration of Aje’s customer needs and lifestyles we couldn’t overlook the growing desire for comfort and versatility, and a demand for performance-based athleticwear. We’ve taken the magic and design DNA of Aje, and cultivated it into a one-of-a-kind, functional and stylish product offering– emphasising performance and wellness above all else.”

Aje Athletica serves a multitude of purposes – running, spin, yoga, pilates and weight-training – as well as looking incredibly chic as off-duty leisure wear. The collection features signature active styles such as full-length leggings, supportive crops, tees and tanks and expands its offering with logo-adorned sweat sets, 100 percent recycled puffer jackets and windbreakers, caps and socks.
