Selena Gomez – pop doyenne, ex-Biebette, eternal glamazon – has forsaken her typically glamorous self in the name of quarantine comfort. Unlike fellow songstresses Cardi B (who has maintained sartorial extravagance whilst in isolation), Gomez has put the Givenchy couture and pink Patou suits to bed (quite literally), favouring a more relaxed approach to iso dressing.
Gomez, who has been on somewhat of a sartorial streak for the past six months – that plunging Givenchy “revenge suit” a particular highlight – is getting very comfy whilst working at home. She recently revealed her plans to erect a little at-home studio during a conversation with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, telling him: “Currently I’m actually building this little studio situation and I’m doing it with the people that have been in my house. So I’m creating a little station where I’m going to be able to FaceTime with my engineer and some of my producer friends and we’re going to try to make some music, which I’m so excited about.”
Now, via Instagram, we get to see the makeshift studio in all its glory, but more importantly, we get to witness Selena Gomez’s ultimate WFH attire: a grey marle sweater, navy track pants and what look like the dreamiest, fluffiest slippers we ever did see. Bashfully looking over her shoulder in her adaption of WFH-wear, she captioned the image: “Makeshift studio so I can work from home 🎧🎼🎤”.
As cute as her at-home recording get-up is, we can’t get past those gloriously plush feet pillows, so here’a a few you may wish to plonk your tootsies in while #WFH.
