After reportedly “distancing himself” for a while, Scott Disick took part in his first family event at the weekend since Travis Barker’s proposal to Kourtney Kardashian. The reality stars attended family friend and PR executive Simon Huck and Phil Riportella’s wedding and according to a source for E! News, Disick greeted Kardashian and Barker but “kept his distance for the majority of the night.”
“He doesn’t want to see Kourtney and Travis’ PDA and doesn’t want to engage,” the insider told the publication adding, “it’s still very awkward for Scott to be around them. But he knows he can’t escape them.”
Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner were all in attendance at the lavish affair where Kim also gave a speech (at her own expense).
“He had a lot of friends there and was hanging with Kris and Khloe most of the night,” the source said. He was reportedly “sitting and chatting with friends and wasn’t drinking or partying much.”
It comes after Disick ran into Barker at a private family gathering for Jenner’s birthday last week. Another source for the publication noted that Disick “has signed on to their new show and had to be present.”
After his very public split to Amelia Hamlin in September, Disick was believed to have moved on and was secretly dating. “The split from Amelia was sudden and unexpected. He was pretty shocked about it. He has slowly been dating, but is not serious with anyone,” an insider told People.
Last week Disick was spotted spending time with Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend, Hana Cross. In images obtained by Daily Mail, the pair were spotted out to dinner at the celebrity hotspot Nobu Restaurant in Malibu.
I guess we’ll see how that relationship unfolds on the Kardashian’s new Hulu show which has begun filming. Everything on that, here.
