UPDATE, April 6: It’s been the question we’ve quietly been asking ourselves: Is Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor really dating? The short answer is yes, but according to a source for Page Six it isn’t serious.
The insider told the publication that they are “not too serious” as Davidson is committed to filming Saturday Night Live in New York City while Dynevor is filming season two of Bridgeton in England “for practically the rest of the year”.
“Still, Pete must like her if he’s flying off to quaint little English villages to hang out with her on set,” the source added.
So there you have it. Will it last longer than his engagement to Ariana Grande or fling with Kaia Gerber? Stay tuned to find out.
ORIGINAL STORY, March 23: Thanks to Netflix’s hit period drama Bridgerton, Phoebe Dynevor went from being a relatively unknown British actress to being watched on screen by over 82 million people across the world in just one month.
Since the show’s release, Dynevor has cemented herself as a fashion darling—dressed by the likes of Chanel and Louis Vuitton—and is one to watch in Hollywood, landing her first big-screen role last week. It also appears her love life has been busy. Rumour has it, she’s been recently courted by none other than Ariana Grande’s ex-fiancé and Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.
The rumours began in February when Dynevor was said to be “spending time” with Davidson in New York, according to Page Six. She also posted a series of pictures showing her spending time in Brooklyn, the neighbourhood where Davidson resides, adding weight to the speculation.
Then, over the weekend Davidson was spotted in Altrincham, Greater Manchester by a fan who posted a picture of him to the Altrincham HQ Facebook page with the caption, “Bizarre Altrincham spot of the day. Pete Davidson in the market quarter… he’s staying over in Altrincham with friends.”
A spontaneous pandemic trip to Greater Manchester would seem random, if it wasn’t for the fact that a certain 25-year-old actress is currently staying with her mum, Coronation Street actor Sally Dynevor, in the city.
Dynevor was last romantically linked to Skins star Sean Teale in 2017. When Bridgerton was first released she was forced to deny rumours she was dating her on-screen husband, Rege-Jean Page, in real life. Page has since been confirmed to be in a long-term relationship.
Davidson, of course, was famously in a whirlwind engagement to singer Ariana Grande in 2018. He then went on to date a string of famous women, including Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley and Kaia Gerber.
Looks like that BDE is real, huh?
