Margaret Qualley, the former girlfriend of Shia LaBeouf, has taken to social media this weekend to show support for FKA Twigs after the musician officially spoke out against LaBeouf. Posting to Instagram, the 26-year-old shared a recent magazine cover of Twigs, simply captioning the image with, “Thank you.”

Following an emotional interview on CBS This Morning with Gayle King last week, Twigs further detailed her abusive relationship with LaBeouf in ELLE.

“If you put a frog in a boiling pot of water, that frog is going to jump out straightaway,” she said in the interview. “Whereas if you put a frog in cool water and heat it up slowly, that frog is going to boil to death. That was my experience being with [LaBeouf].”

Qualley and LaBeouf split in January amid allegations against the actor, after dating since early 2020. Qualley has said very little about the accusations. Australian singer Sia also came forward to speak out on her own experiences with the actor.

“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single. I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away,” she wrote on Twitter on Saturday, December 12. “I love you ⁦@FKAtwigs⁩. This is very courageous and I’m very proud of you.”

In December, Twigs — whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett — filed a lawsuit against LaBeouf and accused him of sexual battery, assault, and infliction of emotional distress according to the New York TimesWithin the same report, the Transformers star denied all allegations against him.
