Natalie Portman is having absolutely none of those pregnancy rumours, thank you. The actor, who is currently in Sydney filming the latest Thor instalment, Love and Thunder, addressed a Page Six report that stated that she was in fact with child on her Instagram Story, denying that it was true and calling out the implication that commenting on a woman’s body is acceptable in this day and age.
The article, which contained paparazzi shots of Portman wearing a navy tank top on set, suggested that Portman and her husband Benjamin Millipied were expecting their third child. Portman posted a screenshot of the story to her Instagram, captioning it, “Hey so I’m totally not pregnant…” above the headline ‘Natalie Portman steps out seemingly with a baby bump in Sydney’.

The 39-year-old continued in her post, “…But apparently it’s still ok in 2021 for anyone to speculate and comment on a woman’s body shape whenever they want? Do better @nypost”, she wrote, adding an eye-roll emoji.
And come on, she’s right – don’t we know by now that you should just never ask or assume a pregnancy at the very least? This is pretty basic stuff, after all.
The star has been residing in Sydney with her family since September and is often seen out and about in the city’s eastern suburbs. Portman, who is fiercely private when it comes to her life outside of work, has also reportedly enrolled her children in one of the top schools in the area.
She recently detailed her own childhood on Dax Sheppard’s Armchair Expert podcast, saying being “sexualised” as a young star left her feeling “afraid” and generated an uncomfortable relationship to her own sexuality later in life.
