Happy Birthday Lady Gaga! At the weekend, the “Poker Face” artist celebrated her 35th birthday sharing a sneak peak of her special day to Instagram. Gaga posted an image of herself hugging a giant floral arrangement courtesy of her entrepreneurial boyfriend, Michael Polansky.
“When your bf sends you all the flowers in Rome for your birthday,” Gaga captioned the image. “I love you honey. I can’t wait to be home with you and our dogs, that’s all I need.”
The couple made their relationship ‘Instagram official’ in February 2020.
Donatella Versace and Elton John were among Gaga’s famous friends to share a birthday message on social media.
“Tanti auguri Gaga!!!!! You inspire me and so many millions of others,” Versace posted. “I am honored to call you my friend. Today, I am celebrating you like a true little monster.”
“Happy Birthday @ladygaga Love you forever. Uncle E xx,” John wrote.
In the land of celebrities and exorbitant wealth, lavish gifts are a usual occurrence whether it be for a birthday or another special occasion. For this year’s Valentine’s Day, Michael B. Jordan hired an entire aquarium for a date night with Lori Harvey as well as gifting her with Hermès stock.
In 2008, David Beckham purchased a Napa Valley vineyard as a birthday gift to Victoria Beckham. It was reportedly priced at seven figures. For Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday in 2018, former-beau Travis Scott lined her driveway with red roses before gifting the beauty mogul a white vintage Rolls-Royce. And if that isn’t enough, Beyoncé honoured Jay-Z’s first Father’s Day following the birth of Blue Ivy with a $40 million USD Bombardier Challenger 850 Learjet.
OK, Queen Bey – we see you.
But what we’re really vibing is Christmas 2015 where John Legend gifted Chrissy Teigen with an entire wheel of cheese. “John got me my lifetime dream for Christmas!,” she wrote at the time. “A cheese wheel to dump pasta and risotto in for years to come! My tableside serving game is bout to be liiiiiit! Heading out to relax with the fam now woohoo!”
