Lady Gaga can do no wrong. Today the artist stepped out in Rome as she begins production for an upcoming Gucci biopic. Wearing a white two-piece suit and with fresh brunette locks, Gaga would have been unrecognisable had it not been for a serious pair of patent platform stilettos. Surely footwear that extravagant could only be worn by the “Poker Face” star.

The look in question is by none other than Italian fashion house Max Mara, while the studded bag is Valentino Garavani. Gaga was seen just days ago wearing a classic camel Max Mara coat. Last month she was spotted wearing a leopard Celine kaftan.

The 34-year-old’s unofficial fashion tour arrives as she prepares to front Maurizio Gucci’s ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani, in Ridley Scott’s upcoming crime drama, House of Gucci. The film will also star Jared Leto as Paolo Gucci, Adam Driver as Maurizio Gucci and Robert de Niro. The project was first announced in November 2019, with news that MGM had bought the rights to the film in April 2020.

Based on the novel of the same name, the film will follow the events and aftermath of the murder of Maurizio Gucci by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani.

This latest film continues Gaga’s acting success since the she won the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress for her role in A Star Is Born in 2019. It appears The House Of Gucci isn’t the only film in the works for the actress. In November 2020, E! News suggested she was to star alongside Brad Pitt for the action thriller Bullet Train, which is based on Kotaro Isaka’s book Maria Beetle. The film follows five assassins who find themselves on a train under mysterious circumstances.

The publication reports that in a past interview, Gaga revealed she had always wanted to act. “I couldn’t make it as an actress, I was bad at auditioning,” she said in 2018. “I never got a job.”
