Finally, multiple sources have confirmed that – after a year of dating – Kate Bosworth, 40, and Justin Long, 44, are engaged to be married.
“Kate is just on cloud nine,” a source from Bosworth’s camp told PEOPLE magazine. “She is showing off her engagement ring to friends. She is being coy about details, but she is beaming.”
“Everyone is happy for her,” the source adds. “Justin is a great guy. He adores her. It’s just amazing to see them together.”
The Blue Crush actress (she’s done so many movies but tell me this one wasn’t your favourite as well) and the He’s Just Not That Into You actor spent time together in 2021 while filming House Of Darkness in Arkansas.
The couple sparked rumours that they were an item in March 2022 after they were spotted driving around Los Angeles together in incognito black sunglasses. They were also spotted in May 2022 arm in arm on the streets of New York which pretty much gave it away that there was a beautiful new romance blooming.
The clincher for me came in January 2023 when Bosworth posted a series of photos of her and Long kissing. Not long after, Long told Chelsea Handler “never had anything like this before,” referencing his relationship with Bosworth.
“You are my love and my light, my peace and my thrill,” the caption read. “Thank you for holding my hand when we sleep. Thank you for tying my shoelaces when you notice they are undone. Thank you for making me laugh so hard I have to leave the room. Thank you for showing me what love is and for making this the best birthday eve.”

Bosworth was previously married to director and writer Michael Polish from 2013-2021. She also famously dated Orlando Bloom from 2022-2006. Long dated Drew Barrymore from 2007-2010 and Amanda Seyfried from 2013-2015.
