A change in conditions—Joe Jonas has reportedly found new love in the New Year after being spotted on several romantic dates with model Stormi Bree. From a song of ice and fire to stormy weather, indeed.
The musician has seemingly taken an inconspicuous approach to his post-divorce single era. While his soon-to-be ex-wife, Sophie Turner, has become tabloid fodder thanks to her public displays of affection with her new boyfriend, British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, the band member and mother-of-one has actively avoided the prying lens of paparazzi cameras.
So much so that the only confirmations of Jonas and Bree’s newfound relationship have come from “sightings” sent into anonymous gossipmonger, Deux Moi and a one-off tidbit from an unknown source. “Joe is enjoying spending time with Stormi,” the insider revealed. “His main priority and focus will always be his children, but at the same time, he’s putting himself out there and is open to what’s to come.”
Within the first days of the new year, Jonas and Bree were frequently spotted together across Mexico and the US. Jonas and Bree celebrated the beginning of 2024 in Cabo San Lucas before jetting off to Aspen, Colorado. The pair appear to have gotten close enough to share clothes, with pictures of Jonas and Bree sharing a knitted hat emerging from the slopes.
Prior to their back-to-back balmy-to-blizzard dates, Jonas was seen in London during the same period as Turner. It was reported the pair would possibly spend the holidays together.
It’s not yet known how Bree and Jonas crossed paths, but this wouldn’t be the model and actress’ first foray into the realm of celebrity dating. Bree was previously in a relationship with American model and ‘It’ boy, Lucky Blue Smith, from 2016 to 2020. Bree was on the receiving end of backlash after netizens questioned the nine-year age gap between her and Smith. (For the uninitiated, Bree was 26 when she began dating 17-year-old Smith). Bree and Smith welcomed a daughter named Gravity into the world in 2017.
Jonas and Turner share two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 19 months. Neither Jonas nor Turner have broken their silence on their newfound relationships. But given the fervour around their respective love lives, it’s apparent it won’t be the last we hear from either of them.
