Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake renewed their wedding vows in Italy this week to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. Biel honoured the occasion on Instagram where she shared a rolodex of images from their idyllic vacation.
“Being married to you is the adventure of a lifetime! Run it back, baby. RUN IT BACK. I love you,” she wrote in the caption. The actress wore a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture ensemble from the fall/winter 2022 runway. The two-piece look featured a voluminous tulle skirt under an oversized shirt secured with a black tie around the waist.
In another slide the 40-year-old posed with her husband in a summery halter neck dress from the same Parisian brand.
Her choice of designer (who happens to be a longtime friend) was by no accident. In fact the entire dreamy trip was a nod to their wedding. The couple shared their nuptials in a ceremony in the same location on October 19 2012. The Candy star famously wore a custom blush wedding gown before later changing into a macramé number for the reception.
A loved-up Timberlake also took to social media to share his own photo dump. “10 years ain’t enough! You make me a better husband and father every day! I love you so much you beautiful human! Run it back!,” the singer posted.
In a memoir titled Hindsight & All The Things I Can’t See In Front Of Me Timberlake recalled how he met his adorable partner. They were both at a surprise party in Hollywood when Biel locked his attention.
“We were at a speakeasy kind of a bar, a private club, and we were standing around in a group of people,” Timberlake recalls in the book. “I made some sort of sarcastic comment, really dry. Nobody got it except her. She laughed, and I noticed, all of a sudden, and in the way where you wonder if a person’s like you, if they have a very dry, dark sense of humour, too.”
The couple now share two sons, Silas Randall, 7, and Phineas, 2.
