After Harry Styles was spotted filming in the heart of London earlier this year, we’ve finally been blessed with the full music video to “Late Night Talking” from his critically-acclaimed album Harry’s HouseWhen I attended the album launch at the One Night Only concert in New York City last month, I realised I was woefully underdressed when fans piled into the stadium all wearing embellished pyjamas. The trend has continued today with a fashion-fuelled take on the humble flannelette set.

The seventies-inspired video opens to Styles dressed in pink pyjamas and azure crew socks, of course styled by Harry Lambert. He continues and begins crawling through a pillow fort dressed in yet another polkadot set. Like his previous “Watermelon Sugar” video, the pop star is surrounded by diverse women (and men) before the setting changes again and he pairs his silky look with a Gucci blazer.

He shares a plate of spaghetti and meatballs (oh to be that spaghetti) before his travelling slumber party takes to the streets of London. Surrounded by cars he wheels down the road in a king sized bed before he embarks on a pillow fight with more beautiful people. Ok fine, I’m happy to be the pillow. Styles then appears in a four-poster bed with in a wheat field before, like something out of a fairytale, he falls from the sky.

It’s everything you’d expect from the artist. Fun, fashionable and inclusive. Unfortunately we did not receive a teaser into his new clothing collaboration with Gucci titled the “HA HA HA Collection” which is slated to drop later this year.

Luckily for you and I, we can expect plenty more screen time from the singer in the coming months. He will appear in the Olivia Wilde-directed film Don’t Worry Darling alongside Florence Pugh in October and then just a couple of weeks later, in My Policeman with Emma Corrin.

Get your pyjamas and popcorn ready.
