The suburb of Watch Hill Rhode Island has reportedly greeted some unexpected visitors, with New York residents Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper making the three-hour pilgrimage up the I-95 to set up a base for their budding romance.
According to new reports, the Manhattanites have traded in the concrete jungle for Taylor Swift’s romantic coastal mansion, High Watch, making the colonial-style residence their “secret love nest” as they “get to know each other”.
An insider source with intel has revealed that Cooper and Hadid “wanted somewhere more private to spend time getting to know each other,” and that Hadid’s long-time best friend was “only too happy to help.”
The source claims that Swift “said the door to her home is always open for them to use”. And given the recent paparazzi pictures of Hadid and Cooper returning to the city with luxury luggage in toe, the burgeoning couple may have more than accepted the invitation.
However, Swift isn’t the only celebrity involved in assisting in creating Cooper and Hadid’s love story, with Cooper’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Irina Shayk, supposedly responsible for setting the pair up.
“Gigi was introduced to Bradley through Irina [Shayk] and their mutual friends in the industry,” another source shared.
“Gigi and Irina have been close over the years while working together, and Gigi and Bradley have hung out before, but it has always been friendly in social settings.”
It’s also reported that Cooper and Hadid were “bonding over their daughters”, Lea De Seine, 6, and Khai, 3, respectively when Cooper asked her out.
Given the pair’s recent proximity, one can assume that Swift’s oceanfront estate—which inspired her Folklore song “The Last Great American Dynasty”—has been the perfect setting for them to fan their flame. Perhaps not the last dynasty residing at High Watch after all.
