The model, actor and writer is passionate about breaking down stigmas around dating and the perception of women, especially regarding sex and sexual freedom.
While Ratajkowski had a string of long-term relationships through her 20s, since her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard she’s been one of the most relaxed celebrities in Hollywood when it comes to how public her dating life is. Often spotted kissing in New York streets or hanging out with famous men, it’s refreshing to see a famous woman in Hollywood pushing against the toxic expectations that men can freely and casually date when single, but women must be discreet and only take established relationships public.
Emily Ratajkowski has spoken passionately on this topic several times, saying on High/Low that it’s difficult to enjoy casual dating as a celebrity because the paparazzi interfere. “Any time I go on another date, everybody knows. So the other guys I’m dating see it, and it has been kind of difficult because of course they’re like, ‘Didn’t talk to her last night,’ and then there’s pictures of me out to dinner with someone else. It sucks.”

Eric André, January 2023
Let’s start with the man Emily Ratajkowski was most recently dating – comedian Eric André. You’ll notice as we look back that Em Rata definitely loves the funny guys, so it makes total sense that she’d go for the stand-up comedian and writer. For a while, their relationship (or hook up) was very under wraps – save for a few paparazzi photos, neither star confirmed they were dating.
However things ramped up on Valentine’s Day when André posted a nude Instagram, featuring a nude Emily Ratajkowski (well, half-nude) taking the photo via a mirror.
It was hot, we adored the hard launch, but it seemed like the romance fizzled within weeks – not long after, Ratajkowski posted this TikTok that hinted the couple had called time on their situationship.
Jack Greer, December 2022
Just before going public with Eric Andre, Ratajkowski was linked to New York artist Jack Greer. The pair were seen making out just before Christmas in 2022, but beyond that it’s not known whether the model and artist dated officially, or just hooked up a few times.
Either way, Ratajkowski is known for her love of art so it doesn’t surprise us that she was super attracted to Greer, who is well-known in creative circles for his work, which encompasses “drawing, photography, sculpture, and apparel design.”
Pete Davidson, November 2022
Late 2022 was definitely Emily Ratajkowski’s casual dating era, and we loved it for her. In November, the model and writer briefly dated Hollywood’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson. But it was more than just Davidson’s humour that drew Ratajkowski to the comedian, who previously dated Kim Kardashian and Phoebe Dynevor.
Speaking on Late Night With Seth Meyers before she actually started dating Davidson, Ratajkowski mused about what makes him so attractive. “Guys are like, ‘Wow. What’s that guy got? And I’m like, I mean, he seems super charming. He’s vulnerable. He’s lovely. His fingernail polish is awesome. He looks good!” she told Meyers, adding that Davidson was also attractive because he’s a professional and has a “super great relationship with his mom.”
While Davidson and Ratajkowski attended a New York Knicks game, seeming to publicly confirm their relationship, Page Six quickly reported that things had fizzled, with a source saying “their fling has moved into the friends zone.”
Orazio Rispo, October 2022
In October 2022 Emily Ratajkowski was romantically linked to Orazio Rispo , a popular New York DJ and son of a very successful luxury property mogul.
However their romance was also short-lived – all we have to go off are a few paparazzi photos of them kissing around New York, and some of Rispo leaving Ratajkowski’s house. Around the same time, Ratajkowski spoke to Variety, saying she was “newly single for basically the first time in my life ever.”
“I just feel like I’m kind of enjoying the freedom of not being super worried about how I’m being perceived,” she told the outlet.
Brad Pitt, September 2022
Emily Ratajkowski’s first romantic link was with none other than Brad Pitt. Several months after her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard was made public, rumours flew that Ratajkowski and Pitt had “been on a few dates”, according to sources that spoke to Us Weekly. Like her connection with Jack Greer, according to People Ratajkowski and Pitt had a passion for art in common. “He was introduced to Emily by a friend in the art world,” a source told the outlet, who also stressed that while there was an attraction, “nothing serious going on.”
Why? Because Ratajkowski was just enjoying being back in the dating world. “She is single and happy this way,” the source continued. “She enjoys dating, but that’s it. She is focused on her son and work. She doesn’t want to jump into a new relationship.”
Sebastian Bear-McClard, 2018 – 2022
The news that Emily Ratajkowski had gotten married to Sebastian Bear-McClard shocked the world, mainly because we barely knew they were dating. After first being spotted kissing in February 2018, the couple ramped up their relationship two weeks later – by getting married. “Emily has known Sebastian for years,” a source exclusively told Us back in 2018. “They were all in a friend group … He wasn’t a stranger.”
Ratajkowski told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show in April that Bear-McClard originally proposed without a ring, fashioning one from a paper clip instead. Most famously, Ratajkowski wore a $200 Zara suit (that promptly sold out, naturally) to marry Bear-McClard in a quiet New York courthouse wedding.
While the couple seemed happy for a few years, welcoming son Sylvester Apollo Bear in March 2021, by July 2022 the couple had announced their separation, with Ratajowski filing for divorce the following month.
While there were reports that Bear-McClard was trying to repair the relationship, rumours have swirled that the reason behind their divorce was cheating on his end. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar in November 2022, Ratajkowski said of her split “I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity. Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I’ll be okay.”
Jeff Majid, 2014, 2018
For four years, Emily Ratajkowski was in a relationship with musician Jeff Majid. Majid, an LA-based musician and creative, dated Ratajkowski for three years before sources spoke to The New York Daily News, saying Ratajkowski was moving out of their LA apartment and into a place of her own.
The reason for their split? Allegedly, work commitments. “Jeff is an incredibly successful music producer and is working around the country,” the source told the outlet. “Emily, too, is seeing her career boom, so their business success[es] did not help them spend much time together.”
Andrew Dryden, 2013 – 2014
The first known public relationship Emily Ratajkowski was in was with art director and menswear buyer Andrew Dryden. The couple dated for a year, and while we don’t know a lot about their break up, reports flew that Ratajkowski was speaking openly about the split at a Superbowl event in February 2014. When asked about the relationship’s demise by Page Six, Dryden said “Sorry, I don’t want to talk about it.”
