Emily Ratajkowski and Eric Andre are a couple I — we, the collective pop culture universe — definitely didn’t see coming, but the more these two are seen together, the more their union just makes sense. And it appears following weeks of dating rumours and one Cayman Islands vacay, they’re now not only at the “don’t care who knows it” stage of dating, but are already couple co-ordinating outfits stage.
In new photos taken today, Friday 10th February in New York, the comedian and model are seen walking around the city’s West Village together, smiling and laughing in almost every photo. Given the night before, Ratajkowski was at a NYFW after-party with huge voluminous ’70s-inspired curls and a matching pinstripe two-piece, she looks incredibly fresh.
Both Ratajkowski and Andre are wearing low-key, comfortable outfits with Ratajkowski in a pair of relaxed-fit suit trousers and black Converse trainers paired with a striped bandeau top and an oversized leather jacket. The model pulled her hair back with a clip and added a gold chain and matching gold earrings for the outing.
For his part, Andre looks equally stylish in a hoodie, track pants and bright yellow sneakers.
Though Ratajkowksi hasn’t explicitly opened up about dating Andre, she did speak about the assumption that she’s choosing people, or publicly going on dates with men, to get back at her ex-husband.
While speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, High Low, Ratajkowski told the week’s guest Amber Rose that she finds it amusing when people (including her friends) think revenge against Bear McClard — who allegedly cheated on her — is a factor in her current love life.
“Oh my god. I mean, my friend, she was like, ‘Oh damn, like you’ve been really getting your ex back, and I was like, ‘It’s so funny you say that because I’m not trying to,’” she explained. “‘I’m just like living my life,’ because I was responsible for that person for so long and thought about them so much, all I wanna do is not have to consider them or think about them, so even when it comes to like getting them back, I’m like, ‘That’s exhausting. That would be me putting more energy towards them. Why would I do that?’”
