In the latest instalment of our obsession with Dua Lipa, the Future Nostalgia artist has taken to social media once again with a drool-worthy ensemble. In the lead up to an acoustic performance on BBC Radio 1, Lipa shared a behind-the-scenes peek at her look which comprised of a teeny knitted romper, oversized black bomber jacket and sheer stockings.
But if you ask us, it was the platform boots which really sold the entire seventies-inspired outfit. Of course, the look was courtesy of celebrity stylist Lorenzo Posocco who captioned a reposted image, “Stepping into FW21 like …”
Whether you’re defrosting post New York’s harsh winter blizzards or are slowly moving into hibernation mode in Sydney, a great pair of thigh-high boots could just be the cure to your transeasonal woes. Layer over the top of stockings and a mini skirt inspired by Lipa or tuck in a pair of jeans and chuck on a blazer for the most effortless off-duty look.
Lipa’s ensemble was finished with a generous swipe of glittery copper eyeshadow and lightly tousled hair with braids at the front.
Lipa has quickly become a formidable force in style. Just last week she made us rethink our robe collection and at the 2021 Grammy Awards pulled of not one, but upwards of five Versace looks across the evening (you can see them all via her Instagram).
