The undisputed queen of pop music (and lockdown anthems) Dua Lipa has just hit the socially-distanced Grammys red carpet, and of course she looks insane. Dressed in a glittering gown by Versace, the Don’t Stop Now singer looks remarkably similar to pop legend Cher at the same awards night back in 1974.

Lipa’s beauty aesthetic added to the likeness. Her hair was worn long and straight with a dead centre part, whereas her makeup was bold and decidedly disco. Her skin was matte and velvet-y, with just a touch of contour on the underside of her cheeks. But it was the eyes that were a focus, painted with a saccharine shade of pinky-mauve and dusted with holographic glitter. Framed with curly lashes and Lipa’s signature bold brow, it was perfectly paired with her diamanté-laden gown and staggering silver stilettos.

Basically, Lipa looked like the shiny, beautiful, talented performer we know her to be. Fingers crossed she takes home an award this evening.
