This season, Ammy Drammeh, a Global Makeup Creative Partner and member of Chanel’s Cometes Collective, brings her vibrant creativity to the Summer 2024 makeup collection.
Steeped in the spirited hues of nature, her curation of colour and texture is expertly nuanced with an understated elegance typical of the French luxury house. From ‘Rêveuse’, a striking chartreuse, and Néon Dahlia, a multifaceted violet, to the pearlescent ‘Songe d’Été’, the spectrum of shades comes together with rich neutral tones to meld the ethereal with the everyday. Such is typical of Drammeh’s work, which often pairs glossed, bare skin with high-octane colours.
Born and raised in Barcelona before moving to London, the makeup artist has quickly garnered attention for her fresh perspective. And with Summer 2024, Drammeh lends her whimsical lens to Chanel’s timeless foundations of beauty.
“Personally, I see colour as allure—it can’t be explained,” she said of the collection’s offering. “Choosing a colour is very spontaneous, very intuitive, very natural. There is something magical, intangible and inexplicable about the process.”
“Colours define our allure every day, sometimes without us even realising it,” she continues. “With this collection, I wanted to provide the opportunity to be free and to wear the colours that resemble us.”
Starring Lily-Rose Depp, the Chanel Summer 2024 campaign plays on the magic of wild gardens evocative of Drammeh’s colours. With an otherworldly take on the winged eye and lips glossed to perfection, Depp personifies the possibilities of this fantastical collection.

As for what Drammeh is most excited about, she is particularly infatuated with the latest iterations of the Stylo Ombre Et Contour pencils.
“For this season, I wanted to dress the Stylo Ombre Et Contour in imaginative, ultra-audacious shades,” she said. “They make it possible to create numerous makeup looks easily. They provide the opportunity to feel confident and have fun with colours that one might not dare to wear on an everyday basis.”

If you haven’t already been enamoured by the Baume Essentiel, you’re thoroughly missing out. With this new peachy-toned balm, my skin has never looked more luminescent.

This intriguing chartreuse shade strikes the perfect balance of unique and charming without being overwhelming—I’ll be wearing it all season long.

I’m convinced this Néon Dahlia Indigo-violet hue will suit absolutely everyone, and with its creamy, highly-pigmented formula, the Stylo Ombre Et Contour can be used in a plethora of ways to suit your mood.

This magenta and powder pink duo is a playful blush/highlighter option for the warmer months, particularly when paired with bold lashes and a glowy base.
