It appears to be the year of the peroxide blonde pixie cut, with Cara Delevingne the latest star to jump in on the craze. Not afraid of making a bold move when it comes to beauty, it’s been just over a month since the actress/model made headlines when she stepped out with a icy platinum bob. Then, earlier this week we saw the addition of pale pink strands. Now, Delevingne is elevating things a notch – with her hair evolving into her latest look, a super-short pink and silver pixie cut.
Debuted on Instagram earlier today alongside the caption “I’m coming for you @lifeinayearmovie”, the cut wasn’t too much of a surprise after Delevingne revealed to USA Today recently: “I have to shave my head for my next part, so I have to do something different. So I dyed it. Just for fun. Just to change it up.”

Before showing off the new look via a selfie, Delevingne took to Instagram Stories to post a picture of pink and blonde locks piled up on the floor with the words “Oh no” pencilled beside it. Her co-star for the upcoming film, Life in a Year, Jaden Smith, has also undergone a hair makeover for the role – with dad Will Smith helping him swap his long locks for a buzz cut.
But after Delevingne’s shaving comments to USA Today, this mightn’t be the final step we see in her hair transformation for the film…
