Bella Hadid never fails in keeping us guessing and just as quickly as micro trends come and go, so does the evolution of the model’s personal style. Hadid has battled summer heatwaves in ’90s-style parachute pants, had a moment for easy wardrobe staples (entirely unlike the 25-year-old) and sounded the return of knee-high socks. Despite the ebbs and flows of her personal style Hadid has always erred on the side androgyny. According to her next two outings that may be about to change.

Overnight the model was captured walking the streets of Malibu after lunch with her mother, Yolanda Hadid. With Nobu leftovers in tow (the chicest doggy bag we’ve ever witnessed) the street style queen wore a vintage ’60s-inspired striped Chanel dress from the spring/summer 2007 collection, knee-high leg warmers, ballet pumps and tiny black sunglasses. It was even finished with a slick bun.

The look is more balletcore than we have seen from Hadid in the past and not the only time she’s opted for the girly style cues in recent days. On Instagram overnight, she shared a rolodex of images from her time in Holland where she reportedly surprised her mum. She walked the streets of the Dutch city in baby pink frilly blouse, layered over the top of white corset with socks and patent black pumps. In keeping with her personal style she paired the pretty pieces with low slung ripped denim jeans and a black leather handbag.

Older sister Gigi Hadid is poised to lend her own experience in the fashion industry for a forthcoming knitwear label titled, Guest In Residence. We’re petitioning fro a cross-sister collaboration ASAP. In the meantime, we’re still on the hunt for Hadid’s actual Depop account. Tips welcome.
