The line of primary-coloured cashmere children’s wear released by The Row in 2021 has found a new wearer, Ashley Olsen’s baby boy.
We send our apologies to any future Upper East Side heartthrob, because not only is this newborn bound to be the most stylish child in New York playgrounds, he’s the heir apparent to The Row’s empire.
It’s been revealed that the 37-year-old actress turned fashion designer secretly gave birth to her son “a few months ago”, with the bundle of joy named ‘Otto’. The news comes only months after Olsen wed 34-year-old artist, Louis Eisner, in a private ceremony in Bel Air, California.
It’s assumed that Olsen was pregnant with Otto at the time of their nuptials, potentially hinting at why the notoriously private actress didn’t share any imagery from her intimate wedding.
Olsen and Eisner reportedly began dating in 2019, with the only insights into their relationship coming from rare public sightings at upper-echelon hot spots like The Bowery Hotel and Balthazar.
The couple finally made their official debut as a couple in 2021 at a charity event hosted by Eisner’s family foundation, Young Eisner Scholars.
Prior to deleting his Instagram account, Eisner took to social media to uncharacteristically share a photo of himself and Olsen on a hike together. It was an image that spawned a thousand memes, with Olsen randomly wielding a machete and holding a glass of beer for her walk.
If only Olsen would recreate this photo wearing a BabyBjörn to formally welcome Otto into the world.
Neither Olsen nor Eisner have responded to the unexpected news, but given the fact Olsen hid her pregnancy the news is even more joyous. Safe to say the Olsen-Eisner home is certainly becoming a full house.
And if there’s one thing to glean from this news, it’s to make your inner circle as tight-lipped as Olsen’s, because boy does she know how to keep her secrets on the down low.
