As Ariana Grande readies to take her self-proclaimed “dream role” as Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Wicked, the multi-hyphenate performer has found a moment to polish up her résumé. Adding a touch of shine to her impressive body of work—which includes her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine—the songstress and actor has been announced as the newest brand ambassador and face of jewellery luxuriate, Swarovski.

Unveiled on July 16, Grande’s latest role fuses the crystalline master’s wearable expressions of light with her own inimitable radiance. The collaboration encourages a creative dialogue that inspires “others to embrace their own unique sparkle” as the two-time Grammy Award winner offered when sharing the news. “I am thrilled to be Swarovski’s Brand Ambassador,” the 31-year-old remarked in a press release.

“It’s an honour to represent a House that shares my passion for creativity, pushes the boundaries beyond the world of jewellery and promotes values of unapologetic self-expression,” she added. “I can not wait to embark on this journey.”

The road towards fulfilling this vision isn’t a winding path paved with yellow bricks but lined with dazzling pieces from the brand’s sculptural Millenia and Lucent collections. This partnership will launch with a holiday campaign slated for release in late 2024.  Yes, Grande might venture to the Emerald City in the highly-anticipated release. Yet in geometric Swarovski pieces and in front of famed fashion photography duo Mert & Marcus’ lens, the star embodies the perpetual luminescence she croons about.

Echoing this sentiment is none other than Swarovski’s Global Creative Director, Giovanna Engelbert. “Ariana’s charisma and positive energy resonate with Swarovski’s essence of bringing joy to the world and I am thrilled that she is joining us as Brand Ambassador,” she added. “Ariana is a brilliant artist whose creativity shines through her songwriting and vocal performances as well as her personal style. I look forward to engaging in inspiring creative dialogues together.”

The announcement is the latest milestone for the 129-year-old Austrian brand.
