Keira Knightley may not be a frequenter of street style ops, but whenever the actress does make a stylish public appearance, it’s always the sartorial epitome of effortless sophistication. For her latest outing, she makes a case for tonal dressing and a seamless fusion of masculine tailoring balanced by softer feminine pieces—all packaged with a signature British polish.
While out and about in New York City, Knightley, who is currently promoting her new Netflix spy series, Black Doves, was photographed wearing a Fall/Winter 2024 Carven look pulled together by stylist Leith Clark. The cornerstone of her outfit was an oversized chocolate-brown blazer with wide lapels and minimalist black buttons. As a masterclass in modern contrast, its sharp and structured silhouette layered beautifully with a soft, slouchy dark sweater and nude slip skirt that moved fluidly with her.
The juxtaposition of textures and silhouettes come together in harmony thanks to warm neutral tones and understated accessories—she and her stylist opted for white pointed kitten heels with a cut-out and a classic black and gold quilted Chanel flap bag. For glam, Knightley’s cropped brunette hair was styled into a soft wave, courtesy of hairstylist Ben Skervin. Though her Chanel tortoiseshell sunglasses covered much of her face, a blushed complexion and peachy-nude lips by Kate Lee were the perfect complement to her outfit.
