After welcoming her first child with her husband, Elliot Grainge, Sofia Richie is back to setting the standard for us all.
Last night, Richie was spotted enjoying a night out at the Hollywood Palladium for family friend Paris Hilton’s ‘Infinite Icon’ Experience concert. Though most would see the occasion as one worth breaking out the glitter and last year’s Barbiecore looks for, the Quiet Luxury votary remained faithful to her timeless style principles.
But in the process, she did a public service by showcasing the versatility of basics most of us already own, demonstrating how even the simplest pieces can be styled to maximum effect.
The 26-year-old began with the bedrock of the modern wardrobe: a white T-shirt and jeans. But as we know, the fit is make or break. What elevates this base is the choice of a crew-neck, baby-style tee paired with a mid-rise, straight-leg silhouette in a vintage wash blue.

From there, it’s just a matter of two additional components that make this a winning outfit formula—three if you count Richie’s sleek blowout, which we do.
A slightly oversized leather bomber has replaced all our other outerwear in our evening rotations, bringing a casual edge that has outperformed its contemporaries. Richie opted for a luxurious Saint Laurent motorcycle jacket (which set you back around $9680), but there are plenty of other options on the market and at your local op-shops.
But even three perfect basics need an oomph. Some embellishments to get our attention.
Enter the metallic heel.
Whether it’s a delicate slip-on or a chunky wedge, fun party shoes are inherently eye-catching and a fantastic way to dress up staples you’ll already find in your closet. Case in point: Richie’s Bottega Veneta ‘Cha-Cha’ mules, which instantly take this from staple to statement.
Once again, we thank Richie for solving our endless outfit dilemmas. If you don’t already own your own iterations of these staples, we’ve got some options for you to peruse below.
