In a significant move from Dior, actor Felix Mallard has just been named the first-ever Australian ambassador for the house’s expansive fragrance and skincare division.

In an announcement sharing the news, Dior expressed its commitment to expanding its reach in the Australian market, having just tapped actress Alycia Debnam-Carey as its local face for fashion earlier this year.

“This appointment underscores Dior’s commitment to celebrating homegrown talent and marks a step towards expanding its presence for its fragrance and skincare collections in the Australian market,” read the statement.

Just like Margot Robbie and Chris Hemsworth, the Melbournian got his start on Neighbours’ Ramsay St before quickly rising to global fame thanks to his breakout role in the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia. In 2024, Mallard starred in the film adaptation of John Green’s Turtles All the Way Down, cementing himself as one of the country’s most in-demand exports and a talent to watch. On Instagram alone, the actor has swiftly amassed a loyal following of 3.5 million, with plenty more to come from the 26-year-old.

With his appointment as an official Dior ambassador, Mallard joins global heavyweights Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, and Jisoo.
