Sydney-based label Albus Lumen has built its brand ethos around this lifestyle – even from lockdown.
This month the brand has launched its Resort 2022 collection ‘Evadere’. Albus Lumen invites wearers to escape (if only through clothing) in homage to a Mediterranean getaway. Like the changing season, an evolution of light, colour, personality and fluidity sets the tone for the forthcoming collection.
Noting that all women and men have a unique sense of style, Albus Lumen focuses on timeless pieces and classical modernity, creating a spiritual escape for life and travel. For the first time the collection will comprise of unisex pieces so everyone can wear and love the brand. The colour palette is synonymous with its past style cues and features shades of whites, creams, dusty yellows and sky blues.
Soft tailoring and voluminous proportions in dress silhouettes play hero, whilst the brand stays core to signature travel pieces, including floor length dresses interchangeable separates, oversized knits, silk sets, new swim style, muslin suiting and shirting and crochet summer essentials.
To accompany the clothing, Albus Lumen has once again join lauded jewellery designer Ryan Storer for their next design chaptet. Accessories such as ear cuffs, pinky rings, pendants are complex in its designs and heroes elements of semi-precious stones including Citrine and Black Onyx. Each piece is finished in luxurious 14 carat gold.
When the collection officially releases, it will only have limited pieces at exclusive retailers and a small curation at Albus Lumen Société in Bondi. As such, customers are invited to participate in a two week trunk show and pre order a forever style for delivery in October to December.
The pieces are individually made to order in Sydney, Australia, crafted with conscience from the finest natural fabrics. The concept is an ode to the sustainable values of Albus Lumen, that each piece should be made with purpose and no waste along the way.
