Now, it looks like Tom Holland may have slipped in a hint as to the status of their relationship in an Instagram post celebrating Zendaya’s 25th birthday.
Posted earlier today, Holland dropped a post showing the two on what looks like the set of Spiderman, where they met when Holland first made his Marvel debut. Holland is dressed in his Spiderman getup and Zendaya is snuck up behind his shoulder, smiling and taking a picture of the two in a mirror.
Holland captioned the post “My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx.” We mean this in the most earnest way possible: that is just too cute. Holland refers to Zendaya as “MJ” due to the fact that the actress plays the character of MJ in the Spiderman movies as his love interest.
On-screen to off-screen chemistry is a very real thing in the world of Hollywood. We saw it with JLo and Ben Affleck on the set of Gigli, and now we’re seeing it with Holland and Zendaya.
