Zendaya is always one to champion the latest and greatest fashions. With the help of her longtime stylist, “image architect” Law Roach, the pair has gained a reputation for snagging the most covetable looks hot off the runway. This time, Zendaya got proactive.
The two-time Emmy Award winning actress shared photos wearing a white lily silk gown from Loewe’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2023 collection, weeks before its runway debut. The look is set to be presented amid Paris Fashion Week. The slinky, jersey dress featured a single spaghetti strap, a thigh-high slit, and a large 3D lily bulb emerging from the frock.
As we know, flowers need sunshine and water, so Zendaya struck a pose in a white tiled shower. Her brunette tresses were dampened and slicked back. The bare-faced beauty sported fresh-faced glam, with a glassy “glazed donut glow” and glossed pink lips.
Designer Jonathan Anderson gave Zendaya’s snapshot his seal of approval. “Omg omg omg omg,” he wrote. “So so beautiful.” The creator reposted the image on his own Instagram feed, captioning the post, “ICON ICON ICON @zendaya Wearing a little preview of Loewe SS2023 @luxurylaw.”
Roach also shared the style moment on Instagram, providing a behind-the-scenes peek at their shower shoot. “Plucked from a beautiful garden,” Roach captioned his video. “A Lily named @zendaya wearing custom @loewe Thank You @jonathan.anderson #fLAWless.”
Not the first time the stylish duo has nabbed first dibs on a killer Loewe gown, Zendaya appeared at the 2021 Women in Film Honors in a gray sleeveless body-hugging ankle-length Loewe dress, embellished with a large, handcrafted brass plate from Jonathan Anderson’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Also styled by Roach, the dress originally debuted on the runway just five days prior to Zendaya’s red carpet moment.
