Luxury avant garde fashion and pop culture don’t always see eye-to-eye, but the new collaboration between S’YTE by Yohji Yamamoto Inc. and Netflix’s Stranger Things, is a perfect confluence of moody, graphics-led, retro-inspired streetwear cool. Available exclusively via Yohji Yamamoto’s S’YTE website, the collection launched earlier this month—and features casual mix-and-match separates: sweatshirts, pants, T-shirts, jackets, and knitwear.
“We’re excited to present a capsule collection in collaboration with the global phenomenon American Sci-fi drama series Stranger Things,” the S’YTE team said in a statement. “Focused on ‘The Upside Down,’ the disappearance of Will Byers, a mysterious girl Eleven, and threats of monsters, the unique collection translates this creatively with elements of darkness and horror.”
