Powerful. Radiant. Intelligent. Bold. These are all characteristics every woman should feel, no matter who they are or what they do. Female empowerment is an ongoing movement that our society continues to work toward to create change in us all.
The newly-introduced clothing brand Whispr strives to meet three key goals within this movement: awareness, ability and empowerment. As a part of their Spring 2022 campaign, the Italian B-Corporation has launched an exclusive clothing collection focusing on emphasizing the message of sisterhood throughout females across the globe. The selection of styles embraces the bright colors of spring, while incorporating powerful messages fighting against the social inequalities females face on a daily basis.
The overarching statement from this launch is the phrase “W”re!” — standing for Women, Whispr and We. The company’s long-term goal is for women to no longer have to whisper their hardships and struggles, and to eliminate fears women face to stand up for female empowerment.
The collection was curated in collaboration with Bocconi University’s Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation in the Fashion Industry course. The 15 intelligent and motivated women from the class were invited to work with Whispr to create this ambitious line of clothing. Six of the students were awarded to star in the spotlight of the campaign, modeling the collection and posing for powerful shots in the apparel.
The Spring/Summer 2022 female empowerment collection is divided into three categories, each with a different set of powerful keywords the sustainable brand wanted to draw attention to.
