
There are few brands doing what Verb is doing — the haircare brand that wants to make high-end hair care at drugstore prices has officially launched their first collection outside of the hair category with a new body wash and body lotion. And much like their last few launches, this one also came with a waitlist. It’s no wonder, either: Verb’s formulas never include parabens, gluten, or harmful sulfates, as well as being vegan and PETA Certified Cruelty-Free. The entire line comes in at $18, a price point we can all agree on.
The Body Wash is a unique gel-to-foam formula made from three key ingredients that all feel luxurious, soothing, cleansing, and hydrating: moringa oil, aloe, and vitamin E. The foam is activated with water, meaning it can also double as a shaving cream. The weightless and fragrance-free Body Lotion also features fatty acid-rich moringa oil as well as argan oil and coconut oil to hydrate and soothe while also boosting elasticity and softening the skin. When used together, the Body Wash and Body Lotion are clinically proven to enhance skin hydration by 65 percent one hour after use. Why did Verb want to launch a body collection?
Moses: At Verb we have always thought beyond hair in our product development and assortment. As a brand, we focus on elevating basics to make products our clients are using everyday easier. As we expand into the body category, we are taking that same approach to make body products easy to use and easy on your wallet.
What makes Verb’s body products special/unique/different?
Moses: Our Body Wash is a gel-to-foam formulation designed to wash quickly and efficiently, with a residue-free finish. The Body Lotion is only our second pure fragrance-free item and offers weightless hydration to the skin without any stickiness. Where do you see the future of the brand, as well as the future of the beauty industry going right now?
Moses: We are thrilled to enter into a new beauty category and are looking forward to offering our clients more. Right now we are working on our formulas being as clean as ever, expanding collections like Purple and Curl, and making sure we are always making products our audience need and want.
