This morning, actresses Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens presented the nominees for the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Opting for a lace pastel pink two-piece set from Giambattista Valli’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Vanessa Hudgens appeared on a split screen with Dawson via Instagram Live to list each category of the 28th SAG Awards nominations. Known for his sugary sweet princess designs, the Italian designer‘s ensemble was the perfect fit for the The Princess Switch actress. Styled by Jason Bolden, Hudgens’ outfit consisted of a sheer embroidered crop top and voluminous a-line midi skirt, elevated by Bulgari jewels and a pair of Cinderella-esque PVC mules, furthering the palpable princess theme.
With both actresses having previously portrayed the character Mimi in the iconic Broadway musical Rent, Dawson and Hudgens’ latest projects were both met with critical acclaim with Dawson appearing in Hulu’s mini-series Dopesick and Hudgens starring alongside Andrew Garfield in Tick, Tick…Boom! about Rent’s playwright Jonathan Larson.
As far as the SAG nominations go, we can’t wait to see who will take home the tiny green statuette, broadcast via TBS and TNT on February 27th, 2022.
