News on the Tinashe front is coming fast this week. After announcing her upcoming fall tour dates, the 28-year-old singer released the sexy video for her latest single “Bouncin.” The clip for the airy track, initially released on Friday, is a pretty straight forward, dance-heavy video. It finds Tinashe and her back-up dancers busting moves in an empty gym as a dude wearing virtual reality goggles looks on.
Then the mini trampolines come out and the dude joins in and things really heat up!
Tinashe began teasing the video yesterday with clips and photos on her Instagram. “Thank you sooo much to everyone for bringing my trampoline dreams to life!!” she wrote in a post when the full video went live last night. Who doesn’t dream of spending a whole day bouncing on a trampoline?
The “Pasadena” originally intended to spend last year touring for her 2019 album Songs For You. But then there was a global pandemic and that tour, like all the tours, got scrapped. But Tinashe kicked off a new era last month with the release of “Pasadena,” the infectiously energetic first single from her upcoming album 333. A video featuring collaborator Buddy followed.
We now know Tinashe is heading out on the road again this fall, making up for lost time with 24 shows across the U.S. with special guest Rei Ami that went on sale Friday. Fans are so psyched to see their girl that the September 24 Chicago gig sold out in presale alone. But don’t worry, a second date in the Windy City has already been added.
