But even though the team is used to packed stadiums, little has been shared about the couple’s post-game dynamic other than Swift’s thematic outfits... until now. A former Chiefs cheerleader, Stephanie Hill, has given us an intimate glimpse into Swift’s support for Kelce, sharing the duo’s sweet post-game ritual.
In a TikTok video, Hill recounted the surreal experience of spotting Swift at the singer’s first Chiefs game on September 24, 2023, which was a pivotal moment when romance rumours between the pop star and the football pro began swirling. In fact, Hill admitted that she was so starstruck by Swift’s presence that she struggled to focus on her choreography.
“I physically cannot concentrate because I’m like, ‘That is Taylor Swift!'” she said, adding how much Swift’s applause meant to the team.“If she didn’t like it, she wouldn’t have clapped,” she joked.
What captivated Hill and her fellow cheerleaders most, however, was Swift’s presence backstage while on break from her Eras Tour.
Post-game, Swift was often spotted walking down Arrowhead Stadium’s red tunnels—immortalised in her stylish Chiefs inspired outfits—to meet Kelce near the players’ locker room. While understated, this tradition demonstrates her unwavering support and enthusiasm for Kelce’s passion.
Unlike her six-year relationship with ex Joe Alwyn, the songstress has leaned into public attention with Kelce. In a 2024 interview, she admitted that the two do not let the public frenzy around their relationship get in the way of supporting each other’s work.
“I’m going to see him do what he loves. We’re showing up for each other; other people are there, and we don’t care,” she told Time magazine. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
