Following her Ketel One Botanical collaboration and first homeware collection earlier this summer, Susan Alexandra just dropped another must-have range with none other than Hello Kitty. Adding the Susan Alexandra twist on the legendary nostalgic character, the collaboration comes to life in two handbags, barrettes, a keychain, and a crystal embezzled headband for our super Hello Kitty fans. Naturally, all pieces of the collection show off the feline’s notable scarlet red bow.
Designer and founder Susan Korn is no newcomer to the legendary Sanrio feline icon. “When I was in college, I worked in a mall, and on every break, I would visit the Sanrio store,” she says. “It was a place of escape and wonder! I loved how sweet and soft the Sanrio universe felt. Many years later, I reached out to Sanrio on a whim to see if they would be interested in working together and my jaw hit the floor when they said yes.”
“Hello Kitty means so much to so many people across the world. She speaks to us in our own language and meets us where we are. She welcomes all. It’s really been an honor to create pieces that pay homage to such a beloved muse!” Korn adds.
