When we think of November, giving thanks is the major theme that comes to our mind — between giving thanks to family on Thanksgiving, gift-giving for the holidays, reflecting on the past year, expressing gratitude for all we have and being thankful for our friends on Friendsgiving. It’s the best time of the year to spread joy and be happy, which is why we wanted to dedicate an entire article to an inspiring story of friendship, success and ways to give thanks this month.
We all know this past year was tough for the entire world, but in a sense, it was also lighter as we navigated our way out of an even tougher year before. Given the times that we are living in, we want to focus on the good this November and celebrate all that we have achieved in 2021. And to help us do that, the founder and CEO of SBLA Beauty, Randi Shinder, and her Equity Partner, Christie Brinkley, are joining GRAZIA to celebrate all there is to be thankful for!
Both Randi and Christie are powerhouse females, paving the way within the beauty industry. They have used their enormous fanbase and celeb-following for good and are hard at work creating products to better the lives of others and build confidence in all women through their brand SBLA Beauty. Randi exclusively tells GRAZIA about the creation of the beauty brand explaining, “I was looking to define a white space within the beauty industry, to really develop and nourish something that’s constantly ignored — and that’s the neck. From that, I developed SBLA Beauty, where science meets beauty to create revolutionary skincare products that address universal aging concerns.”

Her partner Christie admits she was initially skeptical of SBLA Beauty, exclusively telling GRAZIA, “The products sounded too good to be true, but my friend insisted that I try them. Once I saw how effective they were, that’s all I needed to know to join the brand.”
Aside from building an admirable business to enhance women’s ability to age beautifully, these two have also built a genuine friendship formed around their passion for the impact they want to make in the world. “Christie and I are both hard working mothers, who celebrate their families and have found success in that, but we also want women (and men and all people) to define what their own version of what happiness and success is in their own way and celebrate that in their own way,” explains Randi. “Working with Christie this past year has been such a positive experience. We have similar visions and goals, and we work well with each other to achieve them.”
This friendship and desire to role model women supporting women, has helped grow their brand, SBLA Beauty, to what it is today. Randi lets us in on her thoughts when Christie expressed interest in partnering together sharing, “Christie has always represented confidence, relatability and natural beauty — even to this day. We couldn’t have been more excited when Christie approached us about getting involved with SBLA and we knew that we wanted her to be more than just the face of the brand, which is why she became an equity partner as well.”
“It was perfect timing too since I hadn’t worked with a celebrity partner for a few years, and I was searching for the perfect partner that would resonate with a wide audience and appeal to the SBLA consumer — and then there was Christie approaching us! The timing couldn’t have been any more perfect.” In 2021, the dynamic duo has worked to launch brand new products for SBLA Beauty, including their most recent limited edition Double The Plump: Lip Plump & Sculpt in shades Christie pink and Randi rose.

When you can look in the mirror and feel like you look good, it gives you confidence, and confidence gives you positive energy. And positive energy is extremely youthful.”
This November, as our mindsets shift to the holiday season and giving thanks for all that we have, Christie and Randi share with us what they are most thankful for. “My children and family will always be number one,” Randi expresses. “But I’m also grateful for each and every person who helps with the brand on a daily basis, as well as the thousands of people who have made SBLA Beauty a part of their lives. Without them, we wouldn’t have had such an amazing year.”
“I’m thankful for the health of my family and myself,” Christie reflects. “We know more than ever that health is our greatest wealth, and I’m grateful for the science that helps us stay healthy in a complicated world — and let’s not forget, SBLA is where science meets beauty! We use science every day to make skin softer, smoother, healthier, protected from skin cancer, etc. I am grateful for the scientific advancements that keep us feeling healthy and beautiful.”
