Sarah Snook revealed she’s expecting her first child with her husband Dave Lawson while posing on the red carpet on Monday.
In a truly Shiv Roy move, the 35-year-old — who has kept quiet about her pregnancy until now — attended the season 4 premiere of HBO’s Succession in New York City, allowing her growing bump to do all the talking.
The actress looked overjoyed as she cradled her belly in a figure-hugging black jumpsuit with a low-cut neck and spaghetti straps. Over the top, she layered a silver sheer cardigan, pairing the low-key look with impressive diamonds and jewels to channel her on-screen character.
“It’s exciting!” the actress told Entertainment Tonight about becoming a mother. “I feel great.”
The Australian native also admitted to being pregnant while filming the show’s final season, but assured fans that it would not deter from the high-stakes drama.
“You couldn’t super tell,” she said, explaining that she wasn’t “super big” while filming.
At 32 weeks along, she said she won’t have to wait “too much longer” to meet the new addition to the family.
Lawson and Snook met through friends and were close for years before their relationship evolved in 2020.
“We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic,” she explained in an interview. Then, after quarantining together during the pandemic, the pair “fell in love.”
Snook popped the question just a few months into their relationship, and the two were married during an intimate ceremony in their Brooklyn backyard.
