Fenty Beauty.

Aren’t we lucky that we get to live in a world where we get to dress like Rihanna—and undress—like Rihanna, have glowing beautiful skin like Rihanna, beat our faces like Rihanna and now finally—we get to smell like Rihanna. That’s right, our favorite Bajan multi-hyphenate mogul is blessing us with a signature Fenty Beauty “Parfum.” News broke today via both Fenty Beauty’s IG and Rih’s personal IG and Twitter that read: “ #FENTYPARFUM COMING SOON (insert looking eye emoji).” Yesterday, Fenty Beauty teased an elusive video clip of a brown amber bottle on Instagram captioned “something sensual, confident yet sexxy ✨coming your way very soon…😉” and now that we know it’s the debut Fenty Beauty fragrance, it all makes sense now! Details are under wraps as of now but honestly we can’t wait to discover the scent, what notes it’ll have, the product design and packaging and bask in all the luxuriousness of a Fenty Parfum ad. As she opted for the French spelling and pronunciation of “parfum”, we’re expecting nothing but luxury from the queen of cool—and Manolo’s.

If you’re a part of the Navy (Rih stans) like us, you’d know that this isn’t the singer/mogul’s first venture into the world of fragrance. From scents like Reb’l Fleur—Remember? With its stiletto heel shaped vessel—to Nude to even a men’s fragrance, Rogue Man all manufactured under perfumer Perlux. Many of those fragrances feature notes of tropical fruits and flowers that pay tribute to Rihanna’s Caribbean background, as well as sexy “skin” and masculine undertones. So knowing Rihanna, it’s safe to say we can expect similar notes—earthy, floral and of course, sexy. Since it’s inception in 2017, Fenty Beauty has been at the forefront of authentic inclusion. With the inclusive nature of the full Fenty conglomerate–Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin and Savage x Fenty—we wonder if this will be a gender inclusive fragrance? Also knowing the minimalistic product design of both Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, we wonder what the Fenty Parfum packaging will look like. Ugh, So many questions!

Well, when we know more deets—price, scent/notes, retailers etc.—we’ll of course keep you up to date but until then just know it’s “coming soon.”
