Pyer Moss — a fixture in American fashion and sportswear — has, since its inception in 2013, been at the forefront of innovation and shifting the culture. From exciting runway shows that border performance art, collaborating with contemporary artists (like Derrick Adams) and creating a family of tastemakers to carving out a space for honestly the next “it” shoe. The brand previously released three colorways — that all sold out instantaneously — of the Sculpt sneaker in black and yellow, white and yellow, and black and blue. Sculpt is back with its newest iteration, a red-soled colorway. On Saturday, October 9 at 12pm EST, all sneakerheads rejoice: the curvilinear sneaker will release, worldwide, exclusively on the Pyer Moss website. As these shoes tend to sell out in minutes, we suggest you run — don’t walk — tomorrow.

To accompany the exclusive drop, the brand also created a short conceptual film, “Sculpt Live” by THANKYOUSNAPGOD. The immersive video, shot in the style of a late night talk show “on the streets” segment, finds the sneaker out in the streets of NYC as bystanders admire, critique and offer (hilarious) commentary on its chunky silhouette. The Sculpt, as seen on tastemakers like Tracee Ellis Ross and Black Fashion Fair’s Antoine Gregory, has developed a cult like following, making a significant impact in sneaker-drop culture. This is an impressive feat for an independently produced company. With this offering, Pyer Moss is on track to creating the next great American lifestyle brand.
