Sure Jennifer Lopez’s skin is impressive, but have you met Paul Rudd? The guy has seriously not aged since he waltzed onto the screen and stole Cher (and every girl’s) heart in Clueless — which was 28 years ago! He was 26 in the film at the time, which makes him 53 now, and someone please give the man a beauty contract because we want in.
For the Sydney premiere of Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Rudd arrived in a crisp white suit paired with a checked skinny tie. But the real marvel was how the actor manages to still look like the fresh-out-of-college Josh from his Clueless era. Surely, celebrity fave Augustinus Bader has something to do with it? Or at the very least a few vampire facials or an LED mask?
Nope. In a recent interview with Men’s Health, the actor bestowed his secret to eternal youth, happiness and health onto us mere mortals and the answer was… sleep.
Ok, that wasn’t the entire answer, because he’s Paul Rudd and he knows better than that. After sleep, he named diet, then weights, then cardio — in that order of importance. In the article, where he talks about training to literally become a superhero, he says the most important part of that training is sleep. He goes on to say that people are doing a disservice to themselves by setting an alarm to wake early and train. Did Paul Rudd just tell us to hit snooze? Does his charm know no bounds?
This is not the first time Rudd has gifted us golden nuggets of beauty advice. He’s also been quoted saying he’s a “big believer in sunscreen,” and “not one for tanning” which only proves that he really is a beauty oracle because we all know sunscreen is the only true anti-aging product.
Ready and waiting for you to drop your own sunscreen line now, Paul.
