Supermodel Naomi Campbell is showing her love for her longtime friend, Kate Moss. On Wednesday, Campbell praised the fellow model on Instagram after Moss testified in Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

“YES WAGON TELL IT!!” Campbell wrote below a screenshot of a news headline regarding the trial.

Moss appeared in court via video on Wednesday morning at the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse in Fairfax, Virginia. She was called as a witness after Heard took the stand in court earlier this month, and referenced an unverified violent incident that allegedly happened between Moss and Depp.

Contradicting those claims, Moss answered questions relating to the rumored encounter that Depp once shoved her down a flight of stairs.

When asked about a vacation with Depp in Jamaica, Moss described the sequence of events. “We were leaving the room, and Johnny left the room before I did,” the model recalled during her testimony. “There had been a rainstorm, and as I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back. And I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me and I was in pain. And he came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.” The supermodel went on to add, “He never pushed me, kicked me, or threw me down any stairs.” Heard’s defense team declined to cross-examine Moss.

During Heard’s testimony earlier in the month, the actress described an argument she had with Depp in 2015. Heard alleged that her sister Whitney Henriquez was “in the line of fire” and that the actor had allegedly attempted to strike her sister, who was standing at the top of a staircase.

“I remembered information I had heard [that] he pushed a former girlfriend — I believe it was Kate Moss — down the stairs,” Heard said in her testimony. “I don’t hesitate. I don’t wait. I instantly think of Kate Moss and the stairs, and I swung at him. In all of my relationship to date with Johnny, I hadn’t landed a blow. And I, for the first time, hit him — like, actually hit him. Square in the face.”

While Moss was not originally slated to be called as a witness, her name was brought up during Heard’s testimony. Depp reserves the right to call witnesses identified by the defense, in order to confirm or refute Heard’s claims.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is suing his ex-wife for libel after she wrote an op-ed article for The Washington Post in 2018. While Heard never referred to Depp by name, she referred to herself as a survivor of domestic violence.

Depp and Moss dated between 1994 and 1998, and Campbell and Moss have remained close friends since their rise in the modeling industry in the early ’90s.
