Unveiling the final list of winners in a televised ceremony, the 53rd Annual NAACP Image Awards took place on Saturday night on BET. As the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People celebrated the past year’s most electrifying performances and entertainment juggernauts, attendees looked as glamorous as can be.

Honoring the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with this year’s President’s Award, Meghan Markle stunned in a one-shoulder aqua Christopher John Rogers gown with gold Alexis Bittar earrings alongside Prince Harry in an Oswald Boateng tux to receive the award recognizing their shared commitment to public service and to announce a new award category in collaboration with Archewell, the royal couple’s nonprofit organization.

With winners including Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett, Mary J. Blige, and Issa Rae, fashionable actresses from Zendaya to Kerry Washington were also in attendance. Flexing his styling bona fides, Law Roach was responsible for some of the night’s must-see ensembles, including Zendaya’s Valentino Spring/Summer 2022 couture creation, Washington’s Zuhair Murad Spring/Summer 2022 Grecian gown, and Hudson’s Christian Siriano Fall/Winter 2022 ensemble.
