Morphew, the
renowned high-end fashion, art and lifestyle brand has expanded its
reach to Southampton Village with a new spot for vintage designer
finds. Known for its curated selection of designer labels, Morphew
already has a presence in Miami at the Faena Hotel and a showroom
in New York City. The opening of their new 2,000-square foot space
in the heart of Southampton Village brings their unique offerings
to the East Coast.
The light-flooded space boasts an exquisite collection of fashion from renowned designers such as YSL, Dior, Valentino, Prada, Gucci, Celine and Issey Miyake, among others. Visitors can expect a highly curated selection of vintage pieces that reflect the brand’s dedication to quality and timeless style. Notably, an entire wall is dedicated to “summer whites,” featuring organic cotton pieces and Morphew Atelier’s signature antique lace dresses. Additionally, the store showcases a captivating collection of tablecloth dresses, which are crafted from hand-embroidered old linens sourced from France.
“Long Island is in our DNA at Morphew so the opening of our store in Southampton is long overdue,” says creative director Jason Lyon. “We looked deep into the core values and vibes of this storied community and have put our own spin on the aesthetics of the space. The Hamptons is rooted in nostalgia and tradition. The white Victorian trim, sun bleached cedar shingles, loose linen and classic florals create an aesthetic which is undoubtedly ‘The Hamptons.’ Our goal is to morph this casual luxury beachside aesthetic with the sexy maximalism Morphew is known for.”
