Jet-setting supermodels have been everywhere—and they’ve seen it all. This month, The Luxury Collection, part of the Marriott Bonvoy group, announces Caroline de Maigret as the brand’s Global Explorer—and the publication by Assouline of A Night in Seville and the Morning Afterde Maigret’s guide to her favorite spots in the Spanish city.

“Travel for me goes hand in hand with exploration and discovery,” de Maigret said in a statement. “When on the road, meeting new people, finding a cool bar on the corner, a small exhibition with local treasures, or the perfect hotel makes me feel so happy and alive.”

Along with de Maigret’s book, The Luxury Collection will deploy a series of curated city guides, which feature some of the fashion icon’s top picks in Paris, Venice, and Athens—which include must-haves, packing lists, surprising trivia (did you know there is a ‘lake’ under Opera Garnier in Paris that firefighters use for scuba training?), and unexpected tips on where to go and what to do. In Venice, for example, de Maigret names her favorite local markets, vintage haunts, sweets shops, and bookshops (Libreria Acqua Alta). And, when traveling to Athens, de Maigret advises visitors to leave their heels at home—cobblestones!

De Maigret is the latest Global Ambassador for The Luxury Collection. She joins Margherita Maccapani Missoni as one of the fashion visionaries collaborating with the brand.
