May 7, 2021: Just last year—in November, to be exact—London-based demi-fine jewelry brand Missoma unveiled its first men’s collection, along with a campaign starring Raff Law, Joseph Denison Carey, and Yannick Konan, among others. Today, the celeb-loved line is taking its inclusive mission a step further. Fueled by the company’s philosophy that beautiful jewelry should be available for everyone, the brand has launched its first-ever gender-fluid collection entitled FUSED.

GRAZIA USA connected with Missoma creative director and CEO Marisa Hordern, who shared details about the new line. When asked, “Why now?” the entrepreneur told us that it’s what the brand’s shoppers are looking for. “We see an ever-increasing demand from our customers for jewelry that speaks to everyone, she explains via email. “We’re all about celebrating self-expression, and jewelry should be bounaryless.”

“As a brand that is always learning and evolving, we’ve made a conscious decision to ensure we are truly speaking to our community in a landscape that has been traditionally binary,” Hordern continued. “We are forever inspired by those who confidently express who they authentically are through their fashion and the jewelry that adorns them.”

The FUSED collection follows the modern jewelry trend of mixed metals. “We’ve combined best selling details from our previous collections, such as our Aegis chain necklace and pendants with new chains and shapes,” the jewelry expert tells us. “We’ve gone bolder with chunkier detailing, new semi-precious gemstones such as dalmatian jasper, as well as creating new designs for the brand.”

When asked if the unisex collection will expand over time, Hordern responded with a teaser. “This is just the beginning of our offering,” she said. “Missoma’s most exciting, ground-breaking, and collaborative partnership is launching later this year. We’re so excited to unveil and feel it will really cement our position as a jewelry brand that caters to everybody. ”
