He swam with sharks in Fiji, drove race cars in Georgia, and trained like a warrior with Masai tribes in Kenya. With 193 stamps on his passport, Michael Grazino has been there and done that. After earning his title as the youngest Canadian male to travel to all UN countries, the bigger question is, what is it that he hasn’t done?

After six years of exploration, Graziano returned to his hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia in 2020, a mere 2 weeks before the world entered into a pandemic. With a travel ban in place, and the world at his fingertips, Graziano strategically pivoted to spearhead a brand new movement.

Having made headlines in the past, after obtaining his global degree, today Graziano is the founder of a powerful public relations company himself, called Mindful Media PR. His company has taken the world by storm with its unique approach to remote work, press, and company culture.

“I was forced to pivot like every other person did in 2020,” Graziano shares. “When thinking about what I would do, I remembered a quote from Zig Ziglar, who’s a very famous speaker and coach, and he said, ‘you can have anything you want in this world as long as you help other people get what they want first,” he says.

Helping others win is very core to Graziano’s being, and this is reflected well in the work that Mindful Media conducts. The company is not just a public relations agency, but a movement, where individuals are given the tools and guidance to achieve their dreams. And I’m not just talking about clients, but also the individuals who work for the company.

Mindful Media invests in its people, which is one of the many things that sets it apart from other agencies. “We have a very strong company culture, where you have people from every age, every ethnicity, and every location, coming together to meditate, to set intentions to move, do yoga, and to share a frequency together,” Graziano shares. The company’s emphasis on gratitude and mindfulness gives team members the opportunity to extend these values into the rest of their day, and especially into the work that they do with clients. Whether it be during an introductory call with someone new, or while writing an article for someone recurring, Mindful Media works to be in alignment with the individuals it serves every step of the way.

Operating a fully remote company isn’t easy, yet Graziano shares that Mindful Media’s weekly meetings are a lot more than just company updates and numbers. In fact, they include neither. Instead, it’s a time where team members are encouraged to open up, be vulnerable and share their experiences.

”I’m sharing where I’m at in my life, I’m sharing my challenges, which then inspires other people to open up and share what they’re going through, and we all learn from each other and connect with one another on a deeper level,” he says.

Companies usually invest a lot of money to be able to do what Graziano has so seamlessly done with Mindful Media. And his rulebook for success? It includes learning from other people’s wins and misses, being resilient, being your own biggest fan, and of course, investing in your team.

“Ten years from now we’re going to have thousands of people attending our meetings from all over the world, from all different time zones, speaking different languages, with one common concept, which is mindfulness,” he continues.

Whether it comes to traveling the world or building a media empire, there’s no doubt that Graziano always stays ahead of the curve. He uses every resource he knows of to create one unified strategy, and it’s worked out well in his favor. “We work with leaders in podcasting, in search engine optimization, in lead generation, and so much more,” he says.

Mindful Media collaborates with some of the biggest brands and utilizes the same strategies they do to help their clients optimize their content and overall growth. Graziano has effortlessly set the standard for what a public relations company should be like, and he doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

“I’m showing you what’s possible,” Graziano says. “I think it’s finally time to look to the future, and see what’s next for Mindful Media, for myself, for our whole team, our whole community, and start leading the way for how businesses should be conducted,” he concludes.
