CEO dressing has certainly taken a new form in the modern age, but there’s no denying the allure of tailored staples to make you feel more polished, adept and put together. (It’s why Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino invented the ‘Business Woman Special’ in Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunion!)

Proving this point is none other than Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex suited up for the success of her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, during a high-powered summer summit in The Hamptons. The former senior royal swapped Montecito for Montauk as she attended a gathering hosted by venture capital investment firm G9 Ventures alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts, Reese Witherspoon, Bobbi Brown and founder Amy Griffin.

Getting down to business, however, Markle once again displayed her allegiance to this beloved Australian label and proved that St Agni was a crucial part of her entrepreneur wardrobe. She didn’t opt for one of the decisively minimal and natural fibre-focused draped jersey dresses or understatedly sexy body-conscious cutout dresses as she had previously for the Sentebale charity gala.

Instead, the Suits alumni wore a deconstructed two-piece suit featuring a backless single-breasted halter neck vest and matching linen trousers. (Both of which are currently on sale now!) The chic coastal ensemble was complemented by Markle’s Cartier gold Tank Française watch, Love bracelet,  Juste Un Clou necklace and Heidi Merrick sunglasses.

The moment cements the Byron Bay-based brand as a bedrock for stylish, intelligent and aspirational women, with the label in high rotation in the closets of everyone from Jennifer Lawrence to Kendall Jenner. With St. Agni recently celebrated its 10th year in business, this winning design methodology has clearly put the brand in all the right places—especially Santa Barbara.

Markle still hasn’t announced the official release date for the label, but American Riviera Orchard is said to release “home goods including edible treats like jellies, jams and spreads and tableware staples such as cutlery, table linens and drinkware.” We can’t wait to see what else she serves up
