Megan Fox’s first Met Gala did not fail to impress. In fact, we were absolutely blown away. Appearing on the red carpet in front of the towering Metropolitan Museum of Art, Fox wore a vibrant red Peter Dundas gown. Styled by Maeve Reilly, it would only make sense that her next ensemble for the evening’s afterparty would be a mini Peter Dundas iteration.

In the same dazzling red to match her bold red lip, the actress navigated crowds of screaming fans in a heavily embellished one-shoulder mini dress. Beau Machine Gun Kelly wore a matching ensemble in leather pants (surely it must have been hot) with diamanté-encrusted roses appliquéd to a leather jacket, compiled by stylist Adam Ballheim.

On the Met Gala red carpet, Fox spoke to Keke Palmer on the power of weaponizing sexuality. “A woman who knows how to weaponize her beauty… what’s more dangerous than that?” said the actress.

On Instagram she echoed this comment after appearing in a near naked dress at the VMAs the evening prior. “Just me out here ignoring and defying all of your puritanical emotionally repressed projections of what a woman should be.”

According to Reilly, she had the sheer Mugler dress for many months before Fox wore it on the red carpet. As for the Met Gala, it came down to painstaking labor by the dressmakers at Dundas. “I’m just so thankful for everyone for letting me create these moments with them,” the stylist wrote on Instagram stories.

The Transformers star may have caused hysteria over her incredible dress, but she was pretty close to breaking the internet after she referred to MGK and Kourtney Kardashian’s own boyfriend, Travis Barker, as “baby daddy’s”. Um, can we expect a pregnancy announcement any time soon?
