There’s no denying the allure of Maggie Gyllenhaal. And at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, things are no different.
Attending the premiere of French film The Innocent (L’Innocent) at the 75th annual film festival on Tuesday, Gyllenhaal, 44, walked the carpet with husband Peter Sarsgaard, 51. The premiere of the film, which is directed by and stars French actor Louis Garrel, was also attended by Diane Kruger, who ruled the carpet in a red Oscar de la Renta gown.
On the carpet, Gyllenhaal was dressed in Dior by Maria Grazia Chiuri. She wore an all-black embroidered tulle shirt with tie, with a draped skirt. The ensemble was inspired by the designs from Dior Spring-Summer in 1948 but was, without a doubt, perfectly her.
When it came to accessories, Gyllenhaal matched diamonds with black sunglasses, once again making a style choice that screams “Maggie Gyllenhaal.”
When it comes to Gyllenhaal’s red carpet style, we can only hope she keeps doing what she’s doing — especially when it includes Dior.
